So you’re thinking, I know Insight has some pretty cool frames, but sometimes I just don’t want to wear glasses. In some situations it is more comfortable to experience a face unrestricted by eyewear.

Examples:

Whether you need single vision, have astigmatism or need multi-focal lenses, we can find the right fit for you.

First step

The first step is to come in and see your optometrist for an up-to-date eye examination. They will be able to sit down and discuss whether you are a good candidate for contact lenses or if you should stay with your spectacular specs!

Keep in mind, a complete eye examination does not automatically include a contact lens assessment – this is a separate appointment. Your eyewear prescription will most likely be different from your contact lens prescription as glasses sit further away from your eyes and contacts are directly upon them.

Learning to insert a contact

After your optometrist recommends the right contact lens design for you, we will schedule you with our fabulous optician Alina for a fit and teach. She will go over insertion, removal, as well as care and cleaning. Alina will also assess your vision and make sure the contacts are fitting you properly.

After the initial fit and teach you will have 2 weeks to try the contacts. We will book a 2 week follow up appointment,  if necessary. At this point, if we have to make any changes we will do so. Please remember to wear your trial contact lenses for the 2-week follow-up appointment.
