Our Story
Since 1982, Insight Eye Care has supported families in Waterloo Region by providing exceptional eye care. Through the years, we have changed and grown to include more technology and independent eyewear along with our always compassionate customer service. Today, we are located in the heart of Uptown Waterloo within a heritage building where we proudly support your visual needs from start to finish.
Our central location is close to many other local, independent businesses and gives us the opportunity to be present for our community and our patients. As a group of independent optometrists along with an optician, it is our joy to serve the people of Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Elmira, and beyond!

Our optometrists and opticians work together, so you have a whole team on your side. We even offer an online shop if you want to explore our frames in advance of your eye exam.
Acknowledgements
Land Acknowledgement
Insight Eye Care offers our services on the traditional land of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. We are situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. We exist here with gratitude and acknowledge that the history of Indigenous nations in these regions is an on-going reality.

Our Location
Our optometry office is in the heart of Uptown Waterloo. This makes it a short walk from the Barrel Yards, Seagram Lofts, and Circa1877. It’s footsteps away from Princess Cafe and Seven Shores Cafe, so you can even grab lunch after your appointment! We offer free on-site parking for all our visitors.
